r. E.T. Vincent was employed at the Admiralty Engineering Laboratory, during the term of my appointment as Superintendent, for nearly three years as Laboratory Assistant and Technical Secretary.
During that period he was engaged on the erection
and testing of experimental internal combustion engines and
apparatus, working out trial results and on other questions
of a technical nature.
Mr. Vincent has a sound knowledge of mechanics,
thermodynamics and other allied subjects. I found him
a hard and conscientious worker and with his theoretical
knowledge and practical experience I feel sure that he
will make a success of anything he may undertake.
